Luck-quacka The first chapter — Uncle Wong Muttering About a dictionary
I’m Dominic Wong.
In the preface, I mentioned that my father moved me to an English primary school.
That meant my lessons were all in English.
And although I couldn’t understand a word, I still studied hard.
Today, I’m going to talk about Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker in which the main character talks about a toy soldier…
“Luck-quac-ka” ? Is it written like this? “Luck”, “Quac”, “Ka”, I know what this story is all about. It’s about a soldier who has a broken arm and who crashes into a wall so it cracks open. That made the soldier laugh, which sounded like “kaa-kaa-kaa”~
You see, I have been cultivating my imagination and my dreams of being a composer since childhood.
