Macro is an experienced instructor who teaches various styles of dance including hip hop, popping, house, pop jazz. He has appeared in numerous shows and performances.
Yan is now a freelance dancer, instructor and choreographer. She started her Hip Hop and Jazz dance training in 2000 and following graduation she had worked as a dance tutor in several famous Hong Kong academies for Arts, teaching Jazz Funk, Hip Hop and Urban Dance.
In the past decade, Yan taught in numbers of social services agencies, tertiary institutions, secondary and primary schools and kindergartens. She is experienced in teaching and always try her best to fit students’ individual aptitude.
Yan and her team also active in commercial event production and performance in recent years. She enjoys challenge, and treasures any opportunities to work with different parties.
Ronny gained a BFA (Hons) degree at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2007, majoring in contemporary dance.
He performed a solo called ‘dialogue’ by Lam Po, presented in Hong Kong as part of an Asian choreographic collaboration in 2007. He represented HKAPA in performance tours to Berlin and Brussels with a piece called ‘Memory’ by Tsung-Lung Cheng in 2007, and has also been on tour to Perth, Malaysia in 2004 and Paris in 2005. In 2006, he joined Expression Dance Company in Brisbane, Australia on a short term internship. In 2007, he received a grant from HK Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund and joined Transitions Dance Company 07 where he toured England, Ireland and Norway and gained his MA in dance performance. He then worked with Caroline Bridge, Jean Abreu Dance, Luca Silvestrini’s Protein, Tempered Body Dance Company, Iratik Dance Theatre, Candoco Dance Company, Claire Cunningham, Marc Brew, Maresa Von Stockert’s Tilted Production and also Lea Anderson’s The Featherstonehaughs as a London bases dancer.
He recently joined the part time teaching staff at HKAPA.
Malvina obtained a BFA (Hons) degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2008, majoring in contemporary dance. She was awarded a full grant from the Hong Kong Jockey Club for her studies at the HKAPA. Malvina received her Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014.
Malvina pursued her performing career in London between 2009 and 2011. She worked in the UK with Clod Ensemble, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, Rhiannon Faith Dancing Theatre, Tempered Body Dance Theatre and the London College of Fashion with Anton Mirto. She has also made her commercial début with Love Amongst Ruins in two of their music videos “So Sad (Fade)” and “Alone”.
Malvina has been a full-time dancer with the City Contemporary Dance Company since 2013 to 2018. During her time at the company, she has worked with many renowned choreographers such as Willy Tsao, Helen Lai, Dominic Wong, Noel Pong, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Ina Christel Johannessen and Sang JiJia. She has also toured with the company to Germany, Italy, Norway, Japan, Taiwan, Beijing, Guangzhou, etc. Malvina performed in Opera “Beauty and Sadness” as a dancer for the Hong Kong Premier in April 2019.
Malvina is now actively involved in dance teaching, choreography and related work. She continues to build her artistic style and looking forward to embrace the unknown ahead.
