Tap Dance

The tap shoes are the musical instruments of a tap dancer. Music is created the moment a dance taps, which is why rhythm training is so important in this course. Students of the elementary course will learn the basic posture, steps, tap dance vocabulary, simple dance combinations, notation and basic musical knowledge. Prior dance training is not necessary but a sense of rhythm is required.

Please prepare your own tap shoes and casual wear. Sports shoes are not advised.
