  • Annie Au

    Annie Au Hoi Wa is currently the Teaching Artist from City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC), freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher (contemporary dance, ballet and creative movement). She graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in contemporary dance. She also performed in The 4th HK Butoh Festival, HK Dance Award and HSBC Community Festival. During her study, Annie was invited to cooperate with international choreographers, including Gabrielle Nankivell, Dam Van Huynh, Jaime Redfern, Christine Gouzelis, John Utans, Cho Yi and Li Yongjing.

    She cooperates with local dance companies and organisations over the last few years, including E-Side Dance Company, City Contemporary Dance Company CCDC Dance Centre Outreach Department, TWGHs, Caritas Hong Kong.

    Her recent performances included The Rite of Spring by CCDC, The Rose Of The Name by Trinity Theatre. She finished the teacher training course from Moving Playground in 2018.

  • Yan Yan Chan

    Yan is now a freelance dancer, instructor and choreographer. She started her Hip Hop and Jazz dance training in 2000 and following graduation she had worked as a dance tutor in several famous Hong Kong academies for Arts, teaching Jazz Funk, Hip Hop and Urban Dance.

    In the past decade, Yan taught in numbers of social services agencies, tertiary institutions, secondary and primary schools and kindergartens. She is experienced in teaching and always try her best to fit students’ individual aptitude.

    Yan and her team also active in commercial event production and performance in recent years.  She enjoys challenge, and treasures any opportunities to work with different parties.

  • Eric Huynh

    Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Musical Theatre Dance. He is the Founder of Musical Trio, local musical creative group in Hong Kong. Eric has attained the ISTD Intermediate Tap Certificate with distinction. During his program of study, he was awarded scholarships from the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarships and has performed on a study tour to Kwong Tung.

    Eric was active in various genres of art groups. He was the performer for 3AMI, HKREP, HKDC, DanceArt, 2_on_stage, Actor Family, 7A drama group among others.

    Eric also has taught at numerous groups, including CCDC dance centre, HKAPA.  Eric is currently a freelance performer, choreographer and dance teacher.

  • Kaco Kam

    In 2005, Kaco completed her Fine Arts (Honours) Degree, majoring in Contemporary Dance. A year after, Kaco graduated from the Hollins University, Master of Fine Arts in America. She is now a freelance dancer and instructor in outreaching plus educational programmes in Hong Kong. 


  • Felix KE

    Felix Ke graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2010 and Taipei National University of the Arts in 2016 (Master of Fine Arts). He worked with Unlock Dance Plaza and WCDance. He also worked with renowned choreographers including Zhang Xiao-xiong, Yang Ming-lung and Heather Myers. As a choreographer, Ke has created AnonymousV, Last body and Finding Uncertain. He joined CCDC in 2017.

  • Ronly Kong

    Kong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1989. After that, she received the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music Fund Scholarship (1989-1992), B. F. A. magna cum laude in modern dance from the University of Utah in the United States (1992), PIP School Certificate in Performing Arts (2006-2008) and Philippe Gaulier Master Workshop Certificate of Melodrama and Clown (2007 and 2008). Greek Tragedy (2009), Neutral Mask, Burlesque & Vaudeville (2010). She has been a dancer, choreographer, and instructor in various productions in Hong Kong and overseas. Being a dancer with the University of Utah's Performing Dance Company from 1989 to 1992, she received the Orchesis Award for Outstanding Performance in 1990. From 1994 to 1996, she danced with City Contemporary Dance Company 2. From 1992 until now, Kong has choreographed over 100 dance pieces. Her choreographies of Comeo & Go, Keep Going, Out of Control, Surge, Show Tour, Waving and Wings in Heart have attained the Choreography Award in the 34th to 38th Schools Dance Festival respectively. Recently, she designs dance curriculum for various secondary schools. She has also been the artistic co-ordinator and choreographer of Young Sky and WuDaoQingNian. Her choreographies have been performed in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Taiwan and Bangkok. In August 2006, she was invited to Malaysia to be an instructor for the Malaysia National Dance Training Camp. She created her first solo performance r language in January 2009. In the same year, she was invited by the English National Ballet to be the dance artist of Swanning Around - Dance & Cultural Exchange Project held in Shanghai World Expo 2010.

    Currently, she is the Outreach Affairs Manager of CCDC Dance Centre and the Centre's instructor of Dance Training Scholarship Scheme "Teens of Colours". She plays the roles of dance administrator, instructor, choreographer and master of ceremony.

  • Bobo LAI
    After graduating from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2008, Bobo Lai joined the Guangdong Modern Dance Company (GMDC) as a fulltime dancer after working a year as a freelance dancer. Her early performances at GMDC including works by renowned choreographers, such as Liu Qi’s Upon Calligraphy and Sang Jijia’s Sticks. She also showcased her own works One Plus One Ant and X -85213 at GMDC. She joined CCDC in 2015.

  • Peggy Lam
    Born in Hong Kong, Lam was the member of CCDC's Scholarship Class and dancer of CCDC's youth dance ensemble Young Sky and WuDaoQingNian.

    She has performed widely with various professional dance companies. During her study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Modern Dance, she was awarded several scholarships and has toured overseas with the Academy.

    She graduated from the Academy in 2007 and joined CCDC in the same year.
  • Po Lam

    Lam Po studied at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts since 1997.

    During his study at the Academy, he was awarded several scholarships, participated in the Tokyo International Dance Festival and performed with variety of dance groups.

    He was awarded a scholarship from the Asian Cultural Council to participate in the American Dance Festival in 2000 and joined City Contemporary Dance Company from 2001 to 2014.

    His choreography includes Self-obsession in CCDC’s 2003 programme All of A Sudden, Dialogue at the 7 Guangdong Modern Dance Festival, The moment I saw it in Hong Kong Dance Alliance’s Perfect Pair and Odd Couples and Reflections in CCDC’s 2011 programme Talk To Him. The Voice Inside in CCDC’s 2013 Programme It’s My Turn. Lam received 2012 Hong Kong Dance Award “Outstanding Independent Dance” and “Outstanding Performance by Male Dancer” for his performance in The Moment I Saw It.

  • Kammy Lau

    Kammy graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majored in Ballet. During her years at HKAPA, she took part in various local and overseas ballet competitions and received several awards. She has worked with different choreographers around the world including Raymond Chai (UK), Anh Ngoc Nguyen (Vietnam), Jonathan Watkins (UK), Iratex Ansa(Spain) and Ian Robinson(USA). She was awarded several scholarships during her studies leading to her exploration in contemporary dance to different countries around the world.

  • Ka-ki Lee

    Born in Hong Kong, Lee Ka-ki received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree, majoring in contemporary dance, from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts where he was the recipient of several scholarships. In 2009, he was awarded a scholarship to participate in the American Dance Festival. He has performed in various local and overseas dance performances and joined CCDC in 2012.

  • Francis Leung

    Leung was trained in Chinese dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In 1988, he was invited by Lin Hwai-min to teach Chinese classical and folk dance at the Taipei Institute of the Arts. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 1989, and later that year received a scholarship from the Asian Cultural Council to further his training at the University of Hawaii. He joined the City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) in 1990, with which he danced leading roles in many of its major productions. He joined DanceArt Hong Kong in 1995 as a choreographer and core member, and went on tour with the company to Taiwan, Germany and the United States.  Leung is currently the Artistic Director of DanceArt Hong Kong.

  • Jo Leung
    Jo's yoga journey can be traced back in 1999 when she was a dance student in The Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts.  
    Throughout the years of practicing yoga, Jo observed that yoga helped her not only physically as a dancer, but also mentally and emotionally in her daily life, especially when she dealing with stress.  
    She appreciates the strength and peacefulness that she experienced in yoga and wants to be able to share with others in depth.  
    In 2013, Jo went to northern India to deepen her understanding in yoga (including postures, cleansing, breathing, meditation and yoga philosophies) and got her Yoga Teacher Certificate from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta.  
    Jo believes that teaching yoga is not just guiding student into postures, it is a mutual growing process.

  • Justyne Li
    Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, School of Dance, Ballet and Modern Dance Stream.

    She is a former member of the Hong Kong Ballet and Tanz Graz (Austria), and was a soloist with Ballett Bremerhaven (Germany). Currently working as an independent dancer and choreographer. Her recent choreographies include: My Shadow and Me presented by the Hong Kong Art Festival 2011, Galatea & Passenger presented by LCSD’s “New Force in Motion” Series (2010), Galatea &Pygmalion at the Hong Kong Dance Festival 2010. Other works includes, Toy Story with Ballett Bremerhaven; Symphonic Magic with Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra; Narcissus and Echo at “Emerging Choreographers 2007 - Taking Off”;  A Serpent Eating Its Own Tail at the Fringe Festival 2007; Angel #666 vs Demon #999 at the Hong Kong Dance Festival 2006; and Studio Storm. Other recent performances include: Andy Lau Unforgettable Concert 2010; B. O. B. (choreographed by Dick Wong); Spooool & Nocturnal Vista (produced by Theatre du Pif); The Story of Island and Boat (produced by Y-Space).

    <<Galatea & Pygmalion>> received the Hong Kong Dance Award 2011.
  • Kate Li
    Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with an Advanced Diploma majoring in Musical Theatre Dance.

    Kate is an experienced performer and has participated in many Musicals and Dance Productions. She has been learning Belly dance for more than three years. She attended Suhaila Salimpour’s Belly dance workshop in 2009 and 2010. Kate has rich performing experiences. Her Belly Dance experiences include Orientalia 08 , World Belly Dance 09 ,International Dance Extravaganza and some public performances.

    She is now a belly dance instructor and performer.

  • Irene Lo
    Irene was the Former Artist of Hong Kong Ballet Company.

    During this time, She performed many major roles like Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Clara in Nutcracker, Pu Yi's first wife in Last Emperor, Zhu Yin Tai in Butterfly Lovers which win the Award of "Outstanding Performance of the Year" by Hong Kong Dance Alliance in 2000, and same year win the" Most Promising Dancer" by the Friends of Hong Kong Ballet.  

    Irene still active in ballet field gusting with some local dance and drama company ; Workshop Tutor in Asian Grand Prix 2011 and  AGP Summer Intensive Program 2012; was invited as a Guest teacher in South African Ballet Theatre and the Academy; Artistic Coordinator and performer for " Dance for Japan"311; Artistic Coordinator for AGP competition 2012.

  • Pansy Lo

    Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in ballet in 2015.

    With her outstanding performance, she has awarded numerous scholarships, such as Dean's Prize in Dance in 2015, and being the representative of the School of Dance to participate the ImPulzTans Vienna International Dance Festival in 2014.

    She joined the City Contemporary Dance Company as Dancer Trainee in 2015-2016.

    She is currently working as a freelance dancer, dance teacher and choreographer.
  • Shirley Lok
    Born in Shanghai, Shirley Lok graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2009 majoring in Ballet.

    During her studies she was awarded several scholarships. She has performed widely in Hong Kong and toured with various professional dance companies including The Hong Kong Ballet. In 2007 she joined CCDC's youth dance ensemble WuDaoQinNian, when her interest in modern dance was sprouted.

    She joined CCDC in 2010.
  • Shirley Loong

    Loong is currently the Executive Committee Vice President of the Hong Kong Dance Alliance and Chairperson of the Royal Academy of Dance, Hong Kong Committee.

    Shirley Loong first started learning ballet at the age of eight under the tutelage of Ms Jean Wong. In 1986, she was admitted to the National Ballet School of Canada. Upon graduation, she honed her skills further at the John Cranko Ballettschule in Stuttgart, Germany for two years. She is the first Hong Konger ever admitted to this world-renowned dance institute.

    Shirley joined The Hong Kong Ballet as a dancer in 1990, performing many solo pieces and principal roles. Later on, she completed a Degree in Business Studies with distinction at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia, and returned to Hong Kong in 1997 to begin her career in dance education. From 2001 to 2004, she was General Manager at the Hong Kong Ballet Group, where she coordinated major productions such as 1st, 2nd and 3rd Young Ballet Stars Award and summer showcases including Cinderella’s Slippers Lost & Found, La Sylphide and Swan Lake.

    A registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance. Shirley was also an instructor at the City Contemporary Dance Company, Advisor at the Hong Kong Arts Development Council until 2008, and has continued her service with the Council as Assessor to this day. She worked with The Hong Kong Ballet again from 2005 as the Director of Education and Outreach Department until 2011.

    In 2012, Shirley played the role of Princess Moon Wisdom for the Buddhist 4D Dance Dynamics Theatre production, The Dancer of Ultimate Bliss. In 2014 November, her performance in The Buddha’s Path received rave reviews.

    Shirley is currently a member on the Executive Board of the Hong Kong Dance Alliance, one of the ballet teachers for Gifted Young Dancer Programme at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and dance instructor for the Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection.

  • Alice Ma
    Ma graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Fine Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance and Choreography.

    She has been trained in modern dance, ballet, Chinese dance, Jazz dance, yoga, etc. She was awarded several scholarships during her study at the Academy. She participated in the CCDC Dance Centre’s WuDaoQingNian project in 2006 and 2007, and performed in several dance exchange programmes, including the International Dance Festival 2008 held in Bangkok. In 2007, she went to the American Dance Festival in the US for a scholarship, during which she was selected by the William Forsythe Company to receive training in the Forsythe’s Project. Her recent performances could be seen in Dancing Sketch (an outreach programme of the Hong Kong Dance Company) and New Dance Platform 2009 (Y-Space). Breaking, a dance she created, was presented at the Site-Specific Project - Build Motivation (E-Side Dance Company). She participated in musical production Field of Dreams (Hong Kong Repertory Theatre) in 2008.

    Ma currently teaches modern dance, children’s creative dance, Jazz dance, etc in primary and secondary schools, and at the same time works as a choreographer.
  • Natalie Mak

    Natalie graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree, major in Chinese Dance.

    During her study, she was awarded The Spring Time Stage Productions Scholarship and twice awarded Disney Scholarship.She performed several performances in HKAPA with famous choreographer; such as Dam Van Huynh, Wang Yuan Yuan, Xing Liang and Zhang Xiaomei. She was the representative of HKAPA to perform in Italy and Taiwan 2012 International Festival of Dance Academies.

    She joined CCDC in 2014. She has worked with a number of emerging choreographers and arts organizations and has performed in a range of dance performances in Hong Kong

  • Jacko NG
    Born in Hong Kong, Jacko Ng is studying at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in contemporary dance. He has worked with renowned choreographers and he was awarded Gifted Youth Dance Programme Scholarship, WuDaoQingNian Scholarship, Wong Cho Lam Scholarship and Financial Assistance to Educational Exchange and Student Led Projects. Jacko joined CCDC as a dancer trainee in 2019.

  • Wei Ming Pak

    Wei Ming-PAK is an independent choreographer and performing dance artist based in Hong Kong. He graduated in 2008 from the City University of Hong Kong with a Certificate in Fitness, Health and 2013 with a BFA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

    During his studies, Pak was awarded the HKSAR Government Reaching Out Scholarship Fund and was also given multiple opportunities to participate in the Guangzhou and Beijing Dance Festival through City Contemporary Dance Company’s scholarships.

    He was awarded the European Organization’s full DanceWEB programme scholarship to participate in ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival 2013.Where he worked with USA base artist Trajal Harrell (RITE OF SUMMER) and Montpellier Dance Festival and Pompidou Center in France 2015 (The Ghost of Montpellier Meet the Samurai).

    Pak has choreographed and produced works independently since 2009; including: One Minute Jumping Frames Dance Video Competition INNERMOST, ROBOT (Dance Video Works), LOST IN THE CITY (Site-Specific Works) which was invited to be performed at Hong Kong Arts Centre’s . TINT and INTERPRETATIONS 2 (Stage Works) which were selected by City Contemporary Dance Company to be performed at the Beijing and Guangdong Dance Festival. Pak has frequently taken part in cultural exchanges in Taiwan, Israel and France.

  • Shirley Pu

    Born in Taiwan and grew up in Hong Kong, Shirley Pu started ballet training at the age of five. Training with different teachers, including Louis Strike-Beacon, Sit Ching Wah and Tang Min, allows her to foster her ballet techniques. She was awarded all with Distinction in Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet Examinations from Graded 2 to Advanced 2. She has been awarded the Tsinforn C. Wong Memorial Scholarship for 6 years and the Dr. David S H Chu LLD, JP Scholarship in 2007 to train in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts between 2006 and 2008. In 2010, she was invited to be a Community Cultural Ambassador and presented Dancing Keys with Hong Kong Ballet Education and Outreach Department in local communities. She was admitted to the three-year full-time diploma programme of Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow as one of the first Hong Kong ballet students and graduated in 2013. She was in the class of Vera Potashkina and Irina Pyatkina. Pu participated in many performance productions, including Nutcracker with Hong Kong Ballet (2003), Don Quixote with Mariinsky Ballet (2010) and the Graduation Performance with the Bolshoi Ballet (2013).

  • Anthony Suen

    Born in Hong Kong, Anthony Suen is a hoofer, musical theatre performer, choreographer also an instructor.

    Anthony graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Musical Theatre Dance. During his study, he was awarded a scholarship to a musical theatre training program “CAP21” in New York. He is certified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Advanced (1)Tap Certificate and the Australia’s Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) Gold Star Tap Certificate with Honours. In 2002, Anthony established “Tap Ensemble” a tap dance company with the mission of promoting tap through professional performance and education. He produced an original tap dance theatre show 《A Place for Us》 in 2006. He was one of the choreographers of the Hong Kong Dance Alliance's production《Dance Platform》in 2002.  In 2008, he choreographed the dance piece《My Tap Blog》at the《Emerging Choreographers Series Final Episode - danzzzzzling》. He also participated in the Tai Wan as well as New York Tap Festival and studied tap with various Japanese tap maestros.

    Recently, he has performed in the 40th Hong Kong Art Festival Contemporary Dance Series《Journey Of Sounds》.In 2011, he choreographed in a live music tap concert《Just In Time》with Yvette Nie from StudioDanz.

    Anthony joined the Hong Kong Disneyland as the leading male vocalist of the《High School Musical Live!》and《The Golden Mickeys》in 2008.  He is trained by the renowned Derek Anthony on classical vocalism.

    Anthony currently teaches at the CCDC Dance Centre and coaching private lessons with a more than ten years teaching experience, he also works as a freelance.

  • Malvina Tam

    Malvina obtained a BFA (Hons) degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2008, majoring in contemporary dance.  She was awarded a full grant from the Hong Kong Jockey Club for her studies at the HKAPA. Malvina received her Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014.


    Malvina pursued her performing career in London between 2009 and 2011.  She worked in the UK with Clod Ensemble, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, Rhiannon Faith Dancing Theatre, Tempered Body Dance Theatre and the London College of Fashion with Anton Mirto.  She has also made her commercial début with Love Amongst Ruins in two of their music videos “So Sad (Fade)” and “Alone”.


    Malvina has been a full-time dancer with the City Contemporary Dance Company since 2013 to 2018.  During her time at the company, she has worked with many renowned choreographers such as Willy Tsao, Helen Lai, Dominic Wong, Noel Pong, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Ina Christel Johannessen and Sang JiJia.  She has also toured with the company to Germany, Italy, Norway, Japan, Taiwan, Beijing, Guangzhou, etc.  Malvina performed in Opera “Beauty and Sadness” as a dancer for the Hong Kong Premier in April 2019.


    Malvina is now actively involved in dance teaching, choreography and related work.  She continues to build her artistic style and looking forward to embrace the unknown ahead.

  • Mary Jane Tang

    Tang holds a BA in Dance and Theatre Performance from Plymouth State University, NH of the US. She performed and choreographed in various shows throughout New England and American College Dance Festival Association. Her favorite piece was Battle Etude by Rober Battle: New York-based Battleworkds Dance Company in 2004. After graduation, she joined Kelly Donavon and Dancers Company in Cambridge Mass. She is a selected member of CCDC WuDaoQingNian in 2009, and showcased her first choreography in Hong Kong at CCDC My Own Dance in November 2009.

    Mary Jane is currently a Freelance Dance and Yoga Instructor. She got hooked on Bikram Yoga in Brooklyn N.Y 2004. She went on practicing many different styles of yoga through out the years. She got her 1st Teacher Certification with Absolute Yoga - Hot Yoga Teacher Training in Koh Samui 2012, and in 2013 she received a Vinyasa Teacher Certification with Barefoot Yoga Studio – hosted by Contemporary City Dance Centre in Hong Kong. She wish everyone to have a happy & delightful day! 

  • Kate Tsang

    Since 2007, Kate Tsang, who learning from Hong Kong Egyptian Oriental Dance Dancer - Maggie Wong. Start at 2014, she has been learning from the world's masters, including Aida Nour, Tito Seif, Khaled Mahmoud, Mohamed Kazafy, Mercedes Nieto, Mohamed Shahin, Lubna Eman, Ahmed Refaat, etc. Since 2010, she has taught Egyptian Oriental Dance in different institutions and organizations, including HKCTU, CFSC, Methodist Centre CES, and the Police Department's Civil Service. Fortunately, she has the opportunity to participate in the individual and group performances of the Nile Group Oriental Dance.

  • Terry Tsang

    Terry Tsang fell in love with dance and music during young age. He graduated from HKAPA, majoring in contemporary dance. He joined CCDC in 2013 . 

    During his studies, he embarked on his journey in choreography and was invited to perform in various productions at the Academy and beyond.
    Between 2012 to 2013, with a scholarship awarded by the CCDC Dance Centre,

    he presented his choreographies Exotic Territoryand Sound • Gravity at the Bejing Dance Festival. Exotic Territory was also invited to the 9th Guangdong Dance Festival and Imagination Boom for E- Side Dance Company in 2012 and 2014.

    In early 2016, his new work Hide‧ Flee premiered at 2016 Dancers' Homework by CCDC and was a resounding success. In this year, Tsang also unveiled his latest choreography, Sole, was invited to the 18th Hong Kong Dance Awards Presentation & Gala Performance.


  • Ting Yan Tsang

    Ting Yan had learned ballet since the age of 4 and obtained the Advanced 2 level vocational examination of the Royal Academy of Dance. She represented The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Junior Dance Programme to perform in the 2000 Shanghai International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival. She received a scholarship from The Hong Kong Ballet Group in 2001, which she was sponsored to New Zealand for further studies. She won the Silver Award in Senior Girl Group 3 in the 2nd Hong Kong Young Ballet Stars Award Competition in the same year.

    Extending her passion towards dance, Ting Yan started to do jazz and street dance in 2002 and contemporary dance in 2007. She won in Girl Nation with her crew Sisterhood in 2005 and Nike Women Dance Competition (Senior Group) with her crew GAP in 2008.

    Ting Yan was a Parade Dancer for Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005-2006 and is currently teaching in various dance schools.

  • Tseky TSE

    Tseky Tse was a dancer of CCDC’s youth dance ensemble “WuDaoQingNian”. Graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a major in contemporary dance, he has performed in both ballet and contemporary dance productions. He received a scholarship from CCDC to participate in the Beijing Dance Festival in 2012. He also has won several dance competitions including the Silver Award in 2012 Hong Kong Open Solo Dance Competition and the Silver Award for his solo performance in Fragment and the Gold Award and the Best Performance Award for his choreography Get Lost in the 41st Open Dance Contest in 2013. He was a resident artist with Beyond Dance Theatre prior to joining CCDC in 2014. He presented his choreographic work Scar Wound in 2016 Dancers’ Homework.

  • Bruce Wong
    Born in Hong Kong.

    Bruce Wong was admitted to The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1995 and joined the City Contemporary Dance Company in 2000. In 2009, Wong was the recipient of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund, a full scholarship to attend the Hollins University/American Dance Festival MFA program in the United State of American.

    Besides involving in the performances of CCDC, he also participated in various productions, dancing in the concerts of Aaron Kwok and Shirley Kwan, preformed in the musical Luv70% with HOOK Dance Theathre and choreographing (with other eminent dance artists) for the dance productions keep in touch, Venusian, Oh Venusian!, Little Men’s Blue, BSP2006 and Dust.

    Bruce is also passionate in martial arts, in 2006, he was the Bagwa champion at the 2nd Hong Kong Open Wushu Championship.

  • Eva Wong

    Serving in education for over a decade, Eva possesses abundant teaching experience which made her good at taking care of students’ needs. Over many years of her yoga practice, she deeply feels how yoga can change our bodies, prevent them from exhaustion and pain and calm the emotions, leading to a body-mind union through the breath.

    Eva now works as a full-time yoga instructor, teaching different styles of yoga in several yoga centres, community centres and private clubhouses. She continues to study overseas to widen her scope of teaching, e.g. Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra etc.

  • Pik Kei Wong

    Graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2010, majoring in Contemporary Dance and Choreography. She is enthusiastic about choreography and issed numerous works during her time in HKAPA.

    She had worked with different media such as Site Specific Gorgeously Unexpected, and Multimedia Production Melaleuca Leucaendra and Cycle. Her recent works included HKAPA Choreographic Workshop I Journey, site specific Invisible Waves and graduation independent study project Love at the time limped. In April 2011, together with Georgina Lo and Juliana Ho, CCDC Dance Centre and Hong Kong Dance Alliance copresented The Museum of Ladies under the New Real Show Case series. She was also selected as one of the choreographers in Emergin Choreographer Series 2009 - Dance X Men presented by Hong Kong Dance Alliance.

  • Po Lui Jasmin Wong
    Wong Po Lui Jasmin was born in Hong Kong, and graduated at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance. Independent choreographer and dance artist.Previously a dancer for Y-Space(Hong Kong). During her time on the BFA (Hons) programme, she was awarded a Grantham scholarship and also went on an Shanghai Exchange Tour funded by Hong Kong Foundation for arts and culture. She was selected to perform in various school productions including Savage Symphony、Echoing Woods by Christine Gouzelis and Here & beneath the surface of there by John Utans. Other outside performing experiences include CCDC’s WuDaoQingNian program; Sky of Nepal Arts Project by Bobbie Chen and Hero @ Eb Major by Ong Yong Lock for LCSD Community Cultural Ambassador and Unlock Dancing Plaza.She received a CCDC scholarship to participate in the Beijing Dance Festival in 2014 and 2015, 2017. Jasmin also has an interest in choreography and her work Among Them was presented in CCDC's My Own Dance program and the series of Are you thinking what I am thinking? was presented in HKAPA and Eside’s Imagination boom 3.  
  • Ronny Wong
    Ronny gained a BFA (Hons) degree at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2007, majoring in contemporary dance.

    He performed a solo called 'dialogue' by Lam Po, presented in Hong Kong as part of an Asian choreographic collaboration in 2007. He represented HKAPA in performance tours to Berlin and Brussels with a piece called ‘Memory’ by Tsung-Lung Cheng in 2007, and has also been on tour to Perth, Malaysia in 2004 and Paris in 2005. In 2006, he joined Expression Dance Company in Brisbane, Australia on a short term internship. In 2007, he received a grant from HK Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund and joined Transitions Dance Company 07 where he toured England, Ireland and Norway and gained his MA in dance performance. He then worked with Caroline Bridge, Jean Abreu Dance, Luca Silvestrini’s Protein, Tempered Body Dance Company, Iratik Dance Theatre, Candoco Dance Company, Claire Cunningham, Marc Brew, Maresa Von Stockert’s Tilted Production and also Lea Anderson’s The Featherstonehaughs as a London bases dancer.

    He recently joined the part time teaching staff at HKAPA.
  • Tan-ki Wong
    Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Musical Theatre and Ballet.
    Wong is currently working as a freelance dancer, teacher and choreographer. He has performed with E-Side Dance Company, Y-Space, Hong Kong Ballet and Christine Liao School of Ballet. Recent performances include: Emerging Choreographers Seris 1, Taking Off - Narcissus and Echo (Justyne Li, 2007); Y/N, commissioned dance video for Jumping Frames, Hong Kong Dance Festival 2006 (Dick Wong). Recent choreographies included A Serpent Eating Its Own Tail for Fringe Festival, Bare Stage Project ’07; A place for us (Tap Ensemble, 2006); Angel #666 vs Demon #999 for Hong Kong Dance Festival 2006, Independence; Studio Storm (2006). In 2003, he found the Tap Ensemble with Anthony Suen.

    In 2007, Wong has passed the Australia’s Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD), Tapping Advanced Gold, with Honours plus.
  • Jennifer Wu

    Jennifer is a motivated yoga instructor with 5 years training in different types of yoga, she graduated from the 200 hrs Yoga Teacher Training Course organized by Barefoot Yoga Studio (USA), she has a current Yoga Wheel Teacher Certification, Aerial Yoga Teacher Certification and Stretching Instructor Certification (Pass with Distinction) qualifying her as a yoga instructor.

    Jennifer now works as a freelance yoga instructor in different yoga studios, she’s striving to help beginner yogis feel comfortable in their practice, ensuring a safe practice for students of all body types and fitness levels, and also inspiring others to improve wellness and commit to long-term health; yoga is more than just fitness for Jennifer, it's also a spiritual practice to connect with the body.
